Meet the Attorneys
Christopher and Mary Ann Collins are experienced Auburn attorneys who truly care about their clients. Collins & Collins is a general practice law firm that provides competent counseling and advocacy for a variety of legal issues.
Collins and Collins was founded by Christopher and Mary Ann Giuliani Collins. Chris and Mary Ann have been married for 40 years and practicing law for over 34 years. They attended Southwestern University School of Law together and graduated in 1989. Both Chris and Mary Ann passed the California State Bar in 1989.

Christopher Collins
Christopher Collins has over 33 years experience in a wide variety of family law issues. He is a Certified Family Law Specialist by the Board of Specialization, State of California. Chris provides highly competent representation in matters relating to adoption, custody, guardianship, child support, restraining orders, and divorce law. His aim is first and foremost provide counseling compassion for his clients throughout the highly emotional process. He has handled extensive court trials and hearings for support and child custody matters.
Beginning as a, Public Defender Chris acquired extensive knowledge of criminal law and considerable trial experience. In addition to family and criminal law, Chris also handles civil litigation and real estate law.
Chris Collins handles various cases involving real estate law. Chris represents buyers and sellers in Transactional Disputes, and is highly skilled in Easement, Boundary and other title issues.
Chris provides expert assistance in creating Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Estate Planning, ensuring that his clients’ assets and wishes are protected for future generations. He takes a personalized approach, guiding individuals and families through every step of the process with clarity and care.
Chris was born and raised in Tahoe City, California. He graduated from St. Mary's College of California in 1980 and Southwestern University School of Law in 1989. In his free time, he likes to work on construction and remodeling projects.

Mary Ann Collins
At Collins Law, Mary Ann, is dedicated to guiding families through the complex legal processes of conservatorships and guardianships with expertise and compassion. From the initial consultation to final court approval, she ensures that every step is handled efficiently, reducing the stress and financial burden on her clients.
Mary Ann assists in establishing conservatorships/guardianships to help families protect loved ones who can no longer manage their own affairs due to age, illness, or disability. She handles all aspects of the process, including petition preparation, court filings, legal notices, and representation at hearings.
As a Juvenile Defender, Mary Ann gained substantial courtroom and trial experience with misdemeanor and juvenile felony cases including gang defense and drive-by shootings. She also worked on juvenile dependency cases where one or both parents are charged with being an unfit parents.
Mary Ann also has experience as a criminal defense attorney representing clients in the adult or juvenile court system. The firm provides aggressive defense for DUI Matters (including DMV hearings), Felonies, Misdemeanors, and all Traffic cases.
Mary Ann Giuliani was born and raised in Auburn, graduated from Placer High School in 1978. She attended Saint Mary's College in the Bay Area, graduating in 1982 and Southwestern University School of Law in 1989. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and hiking in the canyon.
